Creative design work is our favourite thing to do,
I assume it is the same for any agency.
It allows us to get the big box of crayons out and go nuts. Or that is possibly what people think our job is all about (my Dad certainly does!).
Most of our creative design work actually begins with thinking…thinking and discussing ideas. Only when we have arrived at an idea that we are collectively happy with do we move onto the design stage. Often this will also involve further discussions with a client, it is usually best to develop a new creative direction together.
The design stage begins with big sheets of paper, which allows us to plan out the different parts of a creative project and how they relate to each other.
Good creative work is only effective when it can be developed beyond the stage of a simple idea. For instance you might have a great campaign slogan, but how does that translate to a website, press advert or full marketing campaign?
So, in short, good creative ideas need to be test driven before we get the crayons out to produce good creative design that will work for you!
