The Punch Bunch
The Punch studio has won and developed many client relationships through our creative ability. However, this is only as important as the way we work with our clients on a personal level. We are a small, owner managed business so our client relationship are crucial for our business, our portfolio of work…and also for our own sanity!
This is our studio team, and yes, if we had more money in the budget we would have hired models…but as you can probably guess – this is really us!
Dave Kirven (print specialist)
Dave is so experienced in the creative industry that he actually pre-dates the Apple Mac. His specialist area is print management where he often works on press to ensure the quality of our finished product. Dave is a hater of Jazz music, it makes him feel confused and frantic.
Julie Williams (design)
If you call Punch it is more than likely that Jules will answer – because she is our cheeriest member of staff and therefore the best on the phone. Julie came straight from Uni to join our team and as a result washing up and tea making formed a large part of her training.
Our average age is 36.4…this is bumped up quite a bit by Dave, who actually began working with some of our clients before Julie was even born.
Ian Shepherd (creative & digital media)
Ian is our most experienced creative, so we deliberately made him shorter than he really is in this picture to bring him down to earth a bit. He has worked on many blue chip accounts and integrates our projects across a range of digital media.
Helen Fairburn (design & production)
Helen loves her studio systems, and spends a lot of time making the rest of us abide by them – her rules are there for a reason (she tells us) and she ensures that studio production runs smoothly. Helen is from Ilkley, rarely leaves Yorkshire and still believes the earth is flat.
We also give work placements to local students who are keen to gain some industry experience. If you are interested, send us your c.v!
Richard Lowes (creative)
Richard is our grumpiest member of staff…due to the girl’s choice of music – especially when he is trying to get ‘all creative’. He is the only non-yorkshire staff member and as a result is a victim of work place bullying of the Yorkshire variety. Richard is our brand specialist which is where many of our projects begin.
