After a shocking lack of blog content on our website over the last month we are back on it with a vengeance.
Things have been busy at Punch of late and client work always comes first. So while the design blog has been quiet we have added 2 new people to the Punch Bunch to help support recent national account wins with the likes of Hallmark and GlaxoSmithKline.
As our client projects become more diverse we have a need to widen our skill base in studio and (like a football team without any summer signings) if you aren’t moving forward you invariably start to go backwards.
Our studio is split between web and design, but on both sides of those teams there are a number of different specialisms at work on most major projects. Marketing campaigns often involve creative, traditional print and digital work and everyone has to come together to make that work.
For example this week alone we have been creating print brochures, interactive training modules, exhibition units, digital marketing presentations and a range of marketing collateral for Hallmark and GlaxoSmithKline.
So, to help offer these clients more we have added Joe and Mckayla to the mix. Basically Joe is web and Mckayla is design and both impressed us with their range of skills, attitude and ability to step into our studio and roll their sleeves up. Joe launched his first client mobile website this week and Mckayla has already been in client facing meetings to help steer design projects – both are fitting in really well.
Next time you are over for a brew say hello, Joe looks a bit like Evan Dando from the Lemonheads (90s reference) and Mckayla looks just like a girl with blond hair (I daren’t do a look-a-like for her because she is a girl and I might annoy her).
However, don’t be down hearted if you fancied a career with us, please send your CV anyway…we might need new people soon and its always good to have some quality CVs at the ready… !
